Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

We want you to be happy with your Field Bar, SMEG or Stanley purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work when you buy from Yuppie Chef Style.

Return window

You may return an item within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused, in its original packaging, and in a condition suitable for resale. This is in addition to your statutory rights under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act. For orders delivered to Botswana, Lesotho, Zambia or Zimbabwe, please contact us first to arrange the return — cross-border return logistics may affect timing and cost.

Damaged or faulty items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you. Please do not discard the original packaging until the claim is resolved, as couriers may require it for a damage claim.

SMEG appliance warranty

SMEG appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty in addition to this returns policy. Warranty repairs and claims for appliances outside our return window are handled directly through SMEG’s authorised service channels — contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Non-returnable items

For hygiene reasons, drinkware (Stanley cups, tumblers and bottles) that has been used cannot be returned unless faulty on arrival.

How to start a return

Email info@yuppiechefstyle.co.za with your order number and reason for return. We’ll confirm the return address and next steps within one business day.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Return shipping is covered by us for damaged/faulty items; for change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
